History About This Site

In 1995 I was the principal investigator for Maui S.A.V.E. Program (S.A.V.E.= Scientific Analysis & Visualization of the Environment) which was incubated at the Maui High Performance Computing Center and staffed by an independent volunteer team of artists and computer wizards. In 1996 My team was recognized as having designed one of the top 40 virtual reality based websites at World Movers conference San Francisco California. At SIGGRAPH 1997 I colaborated with the BIOTA Working group and Biota.org on the Nerve Garden Project. I call the visualization of this 3-D model a simulation for the digital restoration for the Island of Kahoolawe.Today I am a technology test pilot and stream MPEG-4 H.264, 3GPP & 3GPP2 media to computers and cellphones from a Dual G4 Xserver at Harvard University on Internet 2.

Over 80 streaming videos will be encoded in QuickTime H.264 format at +256kbps broadband and downloadable video podcasts.
