Phil Clapham, Ph.D., National Marine Mammal Laboratory
Phil Clapham directs the Cetacean Assessment and Ecology Program at the National Marine Mammal Laboratory in Seattle. Phil oversees the lab’s work on all cetaceans, but his primary research interests relate to population biology, behavioral ecology and conservation management of large whales.
Marty Wolff
A fine art and marine photographer, Marty is a resident of Maui. His creations can be found in galleries and shops throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Published in newspapers, books & magazines, he is also the exclusive photographer for Maui WhaleWatch Magazine.
A Maui based photographer, Douglas Hoffman’s black and white Humpback & Sperm Whale portraiture has received international acclaim. His work can be found in galleries, books & museums. For the last decade, he has led dozens of photographic whale expeditions to Tonga.
