AstriaGraph is a satellite and space junk tracker for orbital debris. This is an experimental visualization built to make an invisible problem visible. Space junk is not just a science problem. It is an environmental problem too. Every rocket body and dead satellite in orbit is pollution — just far above our heads instead of in a river or forest.

Why this fits S.A.V.E.
The S.A.V.E. Program started in 1989. The goal was simple: make advanced tools easy to use for environmental research. This space junk tracker continues that mission. It turns a hard-to-picture problem — thousands of untracked objects circling the planet — into something anyone can see and understand.

While the 8-year-old open source repository on Github has more data, I am currently utilizing two verified data sources: CelesTrak and Space-Track. However, Space junk tracker doesn’t show inactive-satellite status yet, because no public data source currently provides verified per-satellite operational status at this scale — so that category stays empty for now. If you click on a specific resident space object, it will display specific details. Based on Cesium ION, I hope to experiment more with AI to help close that remaining gap. You can pan, zoom, and rotate the view. Each colored point represents a real, catalogued object. AstriaGraph propagates its positions forward from the last data refresh, instead of streaming them live.
Try it yourself
Search by satellite name. Filter by data source, country of origin, or orbit regime. Toggle rocket bodies and debris on or off. The view updates as objects move, so what you see is close to real time.
What space junk tracker shows
Every point on this space junk tracker represents a real risk. First, more debris means more chances of collision. Then, more collisions create more debris — a cascade scientists call the Kessler syndrome. So, watching the problem grow in real time is a small but concrete step toward taking it seriously.
